How Do I Apply?
Everything is handled online through the app. Just complete your application, pass a background check, and pick a time for a interview via Google Meet.
How do I pick up jobs?
Browse shifts by date in the app, view pay and job details, and tap “Accept.” Jobs are first come, first served — so turn on notifications!
Do I need my own transportation?
Yes. You’ll need to get yourself to and from job sites.
Do you offer same-day pay?

How does pay work?
Base pay starts at $17/hr and climbs to $22/hr based on how many jobs you complete. Bonuses, driving pay, and tips can push earnings closer to ~$25/hr.

What is premium pay?
Premium Pay is an additional hourly bonus added to base pay when specific job requirements apply, such as when tools are required, the job takes place on a holiday, or specialized experience is needed.
Premium Rates:
Premiums only apply when they are clearly listed on the job or specifically assigned by Laborjack management (such as a Shift Lead role). Premiums may stack when multiple qualifications apply; for example, if you are assigned as a lead and the job also requires you to bring tools.
When do I get paid?
Fast payouts are powered by Branch. You’ll need Location Services enabled during your shift so we can verify hours quickly.
How do I refer a friend to Laborjack?
In the Laborjack app, navigate to your profile, and tap the Invite Friends to Laborjack to send your unique referral link to a friend.
What if my referral link is not working?
Don't sweat it. You have a unique referral code! In the Laborjack app, navigate to your profile, tap Rewards. You'll see your unique referral code which can be entered into the Laborjack application.
Can I refer clients to book with Laborjack?
When a client you refer books 40 hours of labor, you’ll receive a $500 bonus. For other referrals, the bonus amount will vary based on the total hours booked. Make sure the client mentions your name or includes it in the job details when booking so you receive full credit.
How do I submit my hours?
No need to text anything — hours are automatically handled through the app.
Can I cancel a shift?
Yes, as long as it's more than 72 hours before the job. You can remove yourself directly in the app.

What kind of jobs are available?
We offer shifts in a variety of industries, including residential moving, event installation and dismantle, event staffing, warehouse work, construction and landscaping, and more.
What should I have ready for every job ?
Close-toed shoes are required for all jobs. Work gloves and pants are recommended but not always required. The Job Description will provide any other requirements.

Top Worker Status is an earned designation given to high-performing LaborJacks. Workers can earn Top Worker status based on their ratings, which come from on-the-job feedback submitted by clients and other LaborJacks. Additional factors include reliability, number of jobs completed, and consistently arriving on time.
